Girls Make Up Tips

Make up
Experiment with light, fun colors - pastels, soft metallic and bright colors. Go beyond powder shadows for surface that are horizontal, shimmery, glossy or shiny.

Don't always try to play it safe by being natural. From time to time try brighter colors for your mascara and kohl and from time to time play with different colors for your lips.

Not only makeup can enhance your pretty self! Try nail shine to make your face pop with a brilliant color but from time to time just do a color to make your nails look healthy, like a UV ray coat.

Kohl can be tricky so be extra careful to not hurt yourself.

Too much eyeliner is never good. It depends on your eye color: green & blue eyes can apply as much as they would like, and brown eyes should always do it on top and base. But if one has little eyes, be additional careful to not use too much. It also helps if one applies eyeliner just on top. Always draw the liner as close to the lash line as possible.

Use mascara that has a base primer coat and a constructing top coat. The primer helps your lashes prepare for the mascara. L'Oreal Volume appalling is really great because there are two separate wands and the second one is a tiny comb that separates your lashes.

Draw a black or brown line the closest you can get to your top lash line, but draw the line by making small dashes at a time. Then get a shadow that is the same color as the liner and go over the liner. You don't need to smudge it, but if you need to, use a cotton swab. Viola! Sexy, smoky, and modern.

Make sure your eyebrows are natural-looking. Just tweeze stray hairs. Do not over-pluck! Over-plucking is a very common error that teenage girls make. To know what shape you should tweeze follows these orders

Image a straight line from the inner corner of your eye going straight down the side of your nose. Follow that line upwards to find where your brow should create.

Again from your nose, move up cross ways through the center of your eye to your eyebrow. That is where your eyebrow should curve upwards.

Finally, a line from the tip of your snout to the outer corner of your eye will lead you to the point where your eyebrow should end.

Never wax your eyebrows on your own.

Don't be frightened to ask for help; go to your mom, aunt, older cousin, best friend, or even your best friends mom; women are almost always understanding to your plight, and will try to help you.
If you have blond or strawberry blond hair, chances are you will not need to pluck your eyebrows; they are nearly invisible anyway. Just pluck the obvious stray and pencil over your brows to the shape you want with a shade 2 or 3 tones darker than your hair.

If you have very light skin, use pale pinks. If you have average skin, use sandy pinks. If you have figurine, chocolate, or ebony skin choose deep, rich colors, like soft plum or deep bronze. If you have yellow or olive skin, look for shades like pink, tawny or rose, and stay away from peach and figurine. The wrong blush makes you look unclean, bruised, pasty or trashy. Ointment blush looks the most fresh and usual.

Blush fading already? Use makeup, or lip liner. Or if you are convey none of those, then press on your cheeks with your center finger, and your ring handle. (Or with all of them, but try to form a circle.)

For lip color: You can start with either a light or dark shade. It doesn't substance which goes on first since you can adjust later on. Too dark? Blot with tissue and layer on lighter shades with white, light brown or pink. Too light? Build up darker shades like blackberry, which magically turns any lip into an evening look. Too intense? Use beige to mute roughly any color. Too blah? Use red to brighten--but use warily. Use lip pencil and lip balm to create your own color.

Use eye shadow and lip gloss to make matte lipstick. To make lip color last longer, use a lip pencil before apply lip stick.
A common blunder made with basis is the mask-effect, leaving your face stained and very unnatural. To prevent this, use medium coverage powder or tinted moisturizer. Blend and blend, and what? Blend!

Also, make sure you follow the law: strong lips OR strong eyes, never both! Too much all at the same time will make you look stupid, and what you want is to look beautiful. Don't be afraid to play with makeup with your friends and alone to figure out what you really like before you dress in it out.

If you put lots of makeup just about your eyes, you have to put little on your lips, and vice versa. If you put eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara, you can only put some light colored lip gloss.

Don't apply powder straight onto skin; first apply moisturizer or foundation and then fine particles.
